Will Cash Optimizer move money without my approval?

No. We hold no payment-initiation rights. Cash Optimizer prepares payment batches for your accounting system and your bank — the approval stays in your bank, and a kill switch stops every automation instantly.

Does this replace our bank or accounting system?

Accepted Answer

No. Your ledger and your bank remain the systems of record. Banking connections are read-only; connections to your accounting system also write payment batches and status updates back.

How is this different from a generic AI assistant?

It answers from your actual balances, invoices and payment history, and every answer turns into a concrete plan — move, split or hold — that you can apply to a scenario before anything is prepared.

Why not just keep planning cash flow in a spreadsheet?

Spreadsheets break with several banks, entities and currencies. Here the cash position, the 13-week curve, receivables ageing and how each partner actually pays update together.

What does “Start free” actually get me?

The free Starter plan: one company, one bank, one accounting system, one user and 20 AI questions per month. We connect your data with you, so we onboard in batches — signing up puts you on the waiting list for the next one and we confirm your start date by email.

Is our financial data safe?

Banking connections are read-only, data is hosted in the EU with EU-hosted AI models, every proposed and applied change is logged, and a data processing agreement is available on request. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.

How is Cash Optimizer billed?

Accepted Answer

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in EUR, excluding VAT. Pilot is €190 per month and Growth is €390 per month. Starter is free and needs no card. Enterprise is quoted per scope and runs on an annual agreement.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Card and bank transfer against an invoice. Czech and Slovak companies are invoiced by Datové účetnictví s.r.o. with your VAT ID on the document; EU reverse charge applies where relevant.

Is there a setup or onboarding fee?

Accepted Answer

No fee on Starter, Pilot or Growth. Onboarding of your banks and accounting system is included in the plan. Enterprise implementations with custom connectors or migrations are scoped and priced separately, in writing, before any work starts.

What happens if I go over a plan limit?

Accepted Answer

Nothing breaks and nothing is charged automatically. You keep full read access to your data, and we tell you which limit you reached so you can decide whether to move up a plan. We do not apply surprise overage fees.

Do you charge per user?

Accepted Answer

No. Growth and Enterprise include unlimited users. Charging a company for letting its own accountant look at its own cash position is the wrong incentive.

Can I switch plans mid-month?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and we pro-rate the difference on your next invoice. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period, so you keep what you already paid for.

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Starter, Pilot and Growth have no minimum contract. Cancel before your next renewal date and the plan stays fully active until the end of the period you already paid for. No cancellation call and no retention hoops — one email to hello@cashopti.com is enough.

Do you refund a part-used month?

We do not pro-rate refunds for a month already started, because the plan keeps working until the period ends. If something on our side stopped you from using the product, tell us and we will make it right.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Your workspace becomes read-only for 30 days so you can export everything you need. After that we delete the workspace and its data, and we delete it sooner on written request.

How do I end an Enterprise agreement?

Enterprise terms include a notice period agreed in the contract, usually 30 days before the renewal date, plus an assisted export of all your data before access ends.

Who owns the data in Cash Optimizer?

You do. Your balances, invoices, forecasts and scenarios remain your company's data. We process them to run the service for you and for nothing else.

Can I export everything?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time and on every plan, including the free one. Balances, transactions, receivables, payables, forecasts and audit history export to CSV, and Growth and Enterprise can pull the same data through the API.

Do you sell data or train AI models on it?

No. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use your company data to train public AI models. Model providers we use are contracted so that your data is not retained for training.

Where is the data stored?

In the EU. Banking connections are read-only, payment approval always happens inside your own bank, and no payment can leave your bank on our instruction alone. More detail is on our security page.

Do you sign a data processing agreement?

Yes. We sign a GDPR data processing agreement on request on any paid plan, and we can complete your security questionnaire during scoping.

What counts as one AI question?

One question you ask the assistant, together with the answer it gives you and the data it reads to produce that answer. Follow-up questions in the same conversation count separately, because each one is a new answer. Dashboards, forecasts, alerts and reports do not count — those are part of the product, not the assistant.

So what does unlimited actually mean on Growth?

No monthly cap and no per-question charge for the way a finance team works: several people asking questions through the day, every working day, including long scenario sessions at month end. We do not meter you, do not throttle you and do not bill you extra for asking one more question.

Is there a fair-use line?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we would rather state it than hide it. Unlimited covers human use by your finance team. If usage looks like an automated integration — scripted bulk querying, or a volume closer to a platform than a finance department — we contact you and talk about Enterprise or API access. We will always talk to you first; we do not silently cut you off.

What are the limits on the smaller plans?

Starter includes 20 AI questions per month and Pilot includes 50. When you reach the limit, the rest of the product keeps working normally — the assistant simply waits until your next month or until you move up a plan.

Does the AI act on my money?

No. The assistant proposes changes and you review them. Scenario execution writes a payment batch for your accounting system and your bank, and the final approval always happens inside your bank with your own signing rules.
